Online reservations are for dining only. Please specify restaurant, bar or garden when booking. Please note that we show sport in our bar area, therefore the bar area does not offer the same dining experience as the restaurant. Please call or email to pre book for drinks only reservations in the bar or garden. Please note that we are strictly over 21s on Friday and Saturday evenings. Please note that dogs are allowed in the bar and garden but not in the restaurant. Walk ins are welcome subject to availability. Please note that we do not have baby changing facilities and space for buggies is limited.
We are situated at the top of the main high street, St Peters Street, close to the shops and market which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. The Alban Arena is a few minutes’ walk away and The Cock Inn is therefore perfectly situated for a pre-theatre meal or post-theatre drink.
Parking can be found within a few minutes’ walk. There is a large NCP multi-storey car park in Drovers Way, Civic Centre car park on Bricket Road North, in addition to 30 spaces in Adelaide Street which has 1 disabled bay. A taxi rank is situated 20 metres away. St Albans City train station is a 10 minute walk away; London St Pancras is less than half an hour by train. St Albans Abbey train station is a 15 minute walk away.
